- Saturday 20th April marks the UK’s sixth annual Record Store Day! All independently owned record stores come together to celebrate music, with special releases exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists, including Paul Weller and Frank Turner making special appearances.
- We love the look of the new exhibition to hit Liverpool’s Tate gallery. Glam! The Performance of Style investigates the notion of ‘glamour’ through painting, sculpture, installation art, film, photography and performance. Over 100 works are exhibited, including the likes of Andy Warhol and David Hockney
- Fancy a flick this weekend? This week’s Guardian Film Show reviews the latest films to hit the big screen. Our thoughts? The Place Beyond The Pines received mixed reviews here at Birchbox HQ, but we concur it’s worth a watch – if not for Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper alone.
